\u3010P3 or P4 \u3011<\/u><\/strong> Students of all ages, grades 3-7 suggested<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accelerated Math Program prepares students for a successful future by diving into mathematical topics that will come up later in the students\u2019 careers. The goal is for students to understand why and how they arrived at their answer; in other words, students will achieve higher-order thinking. Over and over again, studies have shown that higher-order thinking is not only important for understanding mathematical theories, but a vital skill for thriving across all subjects. Higher-order thinking is what connects seemingly distinct ideas together to deepen the level of understanding. Thus, students who take \u201cAccelerated Math Program\u201d will take on various challenges that will prove beneficial later on in their mathematical career. Yet, there is no use learning ideas that will never be used in real life. As such, students will also be introduced to how math plays a key role in every-day life. Such as; computers and the binary language; maps and navigation; prices and discounts; and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program is recommended for students grades 3-7<\/a>. In fact, many of the mathematics SAT questions include knowledge taught all the way back in 5th grade. \u201cAccelerated Math Program\u201d will cover the basics and provide students with a concrete foundation for students\u2019 futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mandy Wong<\/strong>, rising sophomore in high school, I am just as active outside of school as I am inside. I am a competitive figure skater, a state-wide violinist, a writer who publishes online for her readers, and more. My career as a mathelete has been exhilarating thus far; from competing in Harvard University\u2019s HMMT to Brown University\u2019s BruMO, I can vouch for the critical role that mathematics holds in everyday life. In my free time, you can find me fussing over the little details in my art and pushing myself at the gym. As a future computer science major, I enjoy conducting research and hands-on experiments regarding the potential AI has in the future of humanity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
