The President\u2019s Volunteer Service Award<\/a><\/h1>\n

Century Chinese Language School (CCLS) is a non-profit organization developed on the basis of volunteers. Its nearly 30-year presence and development is inseparable from the participation and investment of volunteers, and the future will be even more so. Continuous supportive volunteering at all levels of the school, from students to parents is much needed and truly appreciated!<\/p>\n

Submit your volunteer hours for PVSA application by Last Sunday of August<\/h2>\n

CCLS has been approved as an official certification organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).\u00a0\u00a0In recognition of your outstanding contributions to the CCLS community\u00a0during the last school year,\u00a0we will apply for the PVSA for the eligible parents and students. (To be sure you qualify as a PVSA volunteer, read about\u00a0volunteer’s eligibility<\/a>). Please submit your volunteer hours<\/a>\u00a0 you had accumulated between 7\/1 – 6\/30 in past academic year, by last Sunday of August in current calendar year<\/strong>. For example, if you are applying in 2023, then submit the hours you served during 7\/1\/2022 \uff5e 6\/30\/2023 by August 27, 2023.<\/p>\n

If you are a junior high or high school student, and wish to share your passion, talents, skills or positive experience for learning with our younger learners\u00a0 at CCLS, please sign up for teaching assistant (for Chinese classes or others) or student teacher positions at CCLS by filling in the form<\/a>\u00a0by Sept 2nd<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
