本课程以趣味性与探索性为核心，通过一系列生动的小视频、丰富的图像资料与课堂互动，引导孩子们深入了解生物学的奇妙奥秘。每一节课都像一次冒险之旅，我们将探索恐龙的灭绝之谜、植物的结构秘密，以及那些不为人知的稀奇生物现象。
除了知识的探索，课程还特别设计了标本制作体验环节，学生将在老师的指导下使用实验室提供的已死亡昆虫，尝试动手制作科学标本。这不仅能激发孩子们的动手能力与观察力，还能让他们亲身参与到科学实践中，感受成为“小小科学家”的乐趣。

关于老师：
haotong Bai，一名美国高中10年级学生，他从小就对生物等学科产生了浓厚的兴趣，在成长的过程中他对于生物学进行了细致入微的研究，同时他也希望将自己所了解的知识教授给其他的孩子们，并乐此不疲。他同时也希望通过这一门课程让孩子们了解生物，并且培养他们对于生物的兴趣，和扩大这个社区。同时，他也希望能够通过这门课程进一步的磨练自己的专业知识争取更进一步。

Have you ever wondered why dinosaurs went extinct? How plants “drink” water? Or why certain animals glow? In the course 100,000 Whys of Biology, we will explore the fascinating world of biology through these curious questions.
This course is centered around fun and exploration. Through a series of engaging short videos, rich visual materials, and interactive class activities, students will be guided to uncover the amazing mysteries of biology. Each lesson is like an adventure—we’ll delve into the secrets behind the extinction of dinosaurs, the inner workings of plants, and the strange, lesser-known biological phenomena.
In addition to gaining knowledge, students will also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on specimen-making activity. Under the guidance of the instructor, and using lab-provided deceased insects, students will create scientific specimens. This experience not only sparks their curiosity and observational skills but also immerses them in scientific practice, giving them a taste of what it’s like to be a “junior scientist.”

About the Instructor:
Haotong Bai is a 10th-grade high school student in the United States. From a young age, he has had a deep interest in biology and related subjects. Over the years, he has conducted detailed research in biology and is now eager to share his knowledge with other children. He is passionate about teaching and hopes this course will spark an interest in biology among his students and help grow a community of curious young minds. At the same time, he sees this course as an opportunity to further strengthen his own expertise in biology and continue to grow in the field.
