The President’s Volunteer Service Award

Century Chinese Language School (CCLS) is a non-profit organization developed on the basis of volunteers. Its nearly 30-year presence and development is inseparable from the participation and investment of volunteers, and the future will be even more so. Continuous supportive volunteering at all levels of the school, from students to parents is much needed and truly appreciated!

Submit your volunteer hours for PVSA application by Last Sunday of August

CCLS has been approved as an official certification organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).  In recognition of your outstanding contributions to the CCLS community during the last school year, we will apply for the PVSA for the eligible parents and students. (To be sure you qualify as a PVSA volunteer, read about volunteer’s eligibility). Please submit your volunteer hours  you had accumulated between 7/1 – 6/30 in past academic year, by last Sunday of August in current calendar year. For example, if you are applying in 2023, then submit the hours you served during 7/1/2022 ～ 6/30/2023 by August 27, 2023.

Student TA and student teacher sign-up by Sept 2nd. 

If you are a junior high or high school student, and wish to share your passion, talents, skills or positive experience for learning with our younger learners  at CCLS, please sign up for teaching assistant (for Chinese classes or others) or student teacher positions at CCLS by filling in the form by Sept 2nd.
