Colored Pencil Art Class (P4)
Teacher’s Introduction:
Sophie He is a student who loves working with kids and enjoys creating all types of art, although her favorite medium is definitely colored pencils. She has been a teaching assistant at CCLS for two years now and has created art since she was very young. Recently, she has earned a Scholastic Art Awards gold key for a colored pencil submission, and she is excited to pass down her experience and tips to her students.
Class Introduction:
In this class, students will learn the basics of sketching, various colored pencil techniques, and how to use color to bring their drawing to life! The main objective is to learn how to work with color, so we will start off with simpler objects such as fruits, although students are encouraged to offer suggestions of other subjects they want to draw. Through this class, students will experiment with colors and create beautiful works of art, hoping to foster their creativity and change the way they see colors in the world!
