
Arts & Crafts (P3 and P4)
Teacher’s Introduction:
Clarissa Lin. This September I will be in ninth grade attending high school in Ashland. I enjoy sketching and reading during my free time, as well as playing the piano and trumpet. Ever since I was child, I was interested in making origami too. Throughout the years I have earned multiple art awards at my school, as well as attending some art courses. I enjoy seeing children express their imagination through art, therefore I look forward to making crafts with children!
Lingxi Xing. I will be attending the ninth grade this September at Bancroft School, and I am excited to lead some fun art classes with my fellow teachers. I have experience working with kids and a love for art. Personally, I enjoy exploring different media like drawing, ceramics, woodworking, and crafts. I will focus on making each class a positive experience, where the focus is on growth instead of the final product. Here, it’s all about fun, being imaginative, and making cool art!
Julia Chen. I am a rising freshman in Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High school. I like handcrafts such as bead craft, knitting, origami, gimp crafts, etc. I read a lot in my spare time and play piano and flute. I play soccer and tennis every week. Since I was in a kindergartner I have made mittens, origami, gimp bracelets and keychains for my family and friends on their special occasions. In the past 2 years I often helped my older sister as a TA in CCLS arts and crafts classroom. I look forward to making crafts with children!
Class Introduction:
Through this class, my objective is to provide an enjoyable, comfortable environment for all, and for students to unravel their inner creativity! In this Arts & Crafts class, students will complete at least 1 piece of art to take home per session, with plenty of additional time to build their creativity and craftsmanship. The art mediums that students will experiment with consists of watercolors, acrylics, markers, and more.
