This class will use “YOU ER HAN YU” (幼儿汉语）volume 3 & 4 as a major teaching material, supplemented with “MA LIPING kindergarten (马立平学前班）” textbooks. Students will learn Chinese words, phrases and sentences through listening, reading nursery rhymes, playing word cards and fun games and activities. The class will also focus on learning simple Chinese characters and phrases, some basic concepts of writing stroke components and orders, Chinese poems and songs. Kids will be expected to know how to read and write some basic Chinese characters, and to use some basic rules to pronounce new words at the end of the school year
