Art class / 绘画课

【P3 3:20-4:05 pm & P4 4:15-5:00 pm】Age: 6+

Welcome to the sketch/color pencil class! In this class, kids will start with capturing basic shapes and learning fundamental techniques to fill in colors to show the relationship of highlights and shadows. These will serve as building blocks for more complex figures and shading later in the class. Importantly, imagination and story-telling through the their own artwork will be cultivated throughout the class.

欢迎来到素描/彩色铅笔课！在这门课上，孩子们将从捕捉基本形状开始，学习填充颜色的基本技巧，以展示高光和阴影之间的关系。这些将作为构建更复杂图形和后续阴影的基础。重要的是，课堂上将培养孩子们通过自己的艺术作品进行想象和讲故事的能力。

Teacher Introduction

Sophia Wan, a student at Wayland High School who enjoys working with kids and fostering their growth. As a young artist, she has enjoyed the mediums: graphite, colored pencils, and gauche. She can’t wait to see the progress that students will make throughout these classes.
