Register for the Class MaLiping 5 (马立平五年级）P1+P2 在集中认了近1500个常用汉字以后，需要一个集中的消化和巩固时段，故而安排五年级为集中阅读的阶段，进行“大运动量”阅读训练。 我们选用了中国古典文学《西游记》作为素材，参照前十二册所学的字，以及课文和阅读材料穿插安排的形式，进行改写，使之既保留原文的文化精髓，又符合学生的阅读能力。改写后的《西游记》共20回，含65,000字次，包括了原著中适合于海外青少年阅读的主要故事。在这一阶段学生还要学习在电脑上通过拼音输入汉字和查字典，为下一阶段的作文训练作好准备。 Age: 12 & above. Register for the Class MaLiping 6 (马立平六年级）P1+P2 六年级第一单元（第16册），以趣味对话为课文形式，介绍海外生活常用中文，如海外中文报刊上的常用字、中餐馆和中国城方面的有关知识等，作为以前各册中陆续介绍繁体字的复习和总结。另外，征得中国著名童话作家郑渊洁先生的同意，16册中还含有郑先生写的当代中篇童话，作为集中阅读的继续（含31,000字次）。 六年级第二单元到七年级第二单元（第17到20册）是中文写作训练，分别学习： “状物”、“写一个过程”、“写一件小事”和“写一个人物”。各册包括四篇样板课文，要求学写四篇中文作文（用电脑输入）。四册共练习写作文16篇（其中包括2篇英译中训练）。 Age: 11 and above, or students have completed 3rd grade level MaLiping or 4th grade traditional Chinese class.…
