课程简介: 本课程通过音乐、律动与舞蹈,引导学生探索舞蹈艺术,在轻松愉快、充满创意的课堂氛围中,培养身体协调性、节奏感、柔韧性、自信心和团队合作能力

课程内容包括热身与拉伸、基础舞蹈动作、节奏与律动练习、简单舞蹈组合以及创意表达活动。学生将在学习基本舞蹈技巧的同时,提高身体控制能力、音乐感和舞台表现力,并尝试通过舞蹈表达自己的情感与创意。

**本课程无需任何舞蹈基础。**无论是第一次接触舞蹈,还是已经有一定舞蹈经验、希望进一步提升舞蹈能力的学生,都欢迎参加。

课堂中,两位老师还将结合自身丰富的舞蹈学习、比赛及舞台表演经历,与学生分享舞蹈知识和实践经验,帮助孩子们更好地了解舞蹈艺术,建立自信,并从运动、音乐和表演中发现快乐。

教师简介

Vincy Cao,就读于 Angel Dance Company。她从五岁开始接受系统的舞蹈训练,拥有近九年的舞蹈学习及舞台表演经验。近年来,Vincy 积极参加地区及全国性舞蹈比赛,包括 Elite Dance Challenge (EDC)、Turn It Up Dance Challenge (TIU)、Starpower National Talent Competition、Imagine National Dance Challenge、World Dance Championship (WDC) 以及 Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) 等,并在多个竞赛及精英组别中取得优异成绩。

Grace Fang,同样来自 Angel Dance Company,拥有十余年的舞蹈学习经验。她曾在多项舞蹈比赛中获得奖项,并积极参与社区及文化活动演出,包括波士顿 First Night 新年庆典、凯尔特人队相关演出、老人中心慰问演出以及各类文化节庆活动。

两位老师都热爱舞蹈,并乐于与年轻学生分享自己的学习、比赛和表演经验。她们希望通过轻松、友好、鼓励式的教学方式,帮助学生建立自信、培养艺术兴趣,在舞蹈中发现快乐,并收获成长。

Course Description

This class introduces students to the joy of dance through music, creative movement, and dance. In a fun, supportive, and engaging environment, students will develop body coordination, rhythm, flexibility, confidence, and teamwork skills.

Class activities will include warm-ups and stretching, basic dance techniques, rhythm and movement exercises, simple dance combinations, and creative expression activities. Students will learn fundamental dance movements while developing body control, musicality, and performance skills. They will also have opportunities to express their feelings and creativity through movement and dance.

No prior dance experience is required. Whether students are completely new to dance or already have some experience and would like to further develop their skills, everyone is welcome to join.

Throughout the class, the two instructors will also share their knowledge and personal experiences from years of dance training, competitions, and stage performances. Through fun and encouraging instruction, they hope to help students learn more about dance, build confidence, and discover the joy of movement, music, and performance.

Dress Code & What to Bring

Please bring:

  • A water bottle
  • Socks (dance shoes are not required; students may bring them if they have them)
  • A small snack, if needed

Please wear:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity and dance
  • Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail or bun
  • Please do not wear jeans or clothing that may restrict movement

Instructor Bios

Vincy Cao

Vincy is currently a high school student and a dancer at Angel Dance Company. She began her formal dance training at the age of five and has nearly nine years of experience in dance training and stage performance.

In recent years, Vincy has participated in a variety of regional and national dance competitions, including Elite Dance Challenge (EDC), Turn It Up Dance Challenge (TIU), Starpower National Talent Competition, Imagine National Dance Challenge, World Dance Championship (WDC), and Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). She has received strong results in various competitive and elite-level divisions.

Grace Fang

Grace is currently a high school student and also a member of Angel Dance Company. She has more than ten years of dance training experience and has received awards at various dance competitions.

In addition to competitive dance, Grace actively participates in community and cultural performances, including Boston’s First Night New Year’s celebration, performances associated with the Boston Celtics, senior center community events, and a variety of cultural festivals and celebrations.

Both instructors are passionate about dance and enjoy sharing their experiences in dance training, competitions, and performances with younger students. Through a fun, friendly, and encouraging teaching approach, they hope to help students build confidence, develop an appreciation for the arts, and discover the joy of dance while growing as individuals.
