课程简介: 本课程旨在为孩子们提供一个轻松、愉快、充满鼓励的创作环境，让孩子通过绘画和手工活动发挥想象力、探索创造力，并享受艺术创作的乐趣。
每次课程中，学生至少可以完成一件可以带回家的艺术作品。在完成作品之外，课堂还会留出充足的时间，让孩子们自由探索不同的材料、技法和创作方式，逐步培养艺术兴趣和动手能力。
课程将接触多种艺术材料和创作形式，包括水彩、丙烯颜料、马克笔、绘画、纸艺及其他手工创作等。通过丰富多样的实践活动，学生不仅可以学习基本的艺术和手工技巧，还能够培养精细动作能力、想象力、创造力、耐心、自信心和艺术表达能力。本课程不要求任何绘画或手工基础。我们鼓励每个孩子按照自己的想法进行创作，重视探索和成长，而不仅仅是最终作品是否“漂亮”或“完美”。希望每位学生都能在轻松有趣的课堂中大胆想象、自由创作，并享受“自己动手做出来”的成就感。

Clarissa Lin, 将于今年九月进入 Ashland 的高中就读十年级。她喜欢素描和阅读，也喜欢弹钢琴和吹奏小号。从小她就对折纸和手工制作非常感兴趣。多年来，她曾获得多项学校艺术类奖项，并参加过多种艺术课程。
Clarissa 很喜欢看到孩子们通过艺术表达自己的想象力和创意。她希望通过有趣、轻松的课堂活动，与小朋友一起探索艺术和手工创作的乐趣。
Lingxi Xing，将于今年九月进入 Bancroft School 十年级。她有与儿童相处和合作的经验，并热爱艺术与创意创作。她喜欢探索不同的艺术形式和材料，包括绘画、陶艺、木工以及各种手工制作。
在课堂中，Lingxi 希望营造一个积极、轻松、充满鼓励的学习环境，让孩子们关注探索、尝试和成长，而不仅仅是完成一个“完美”的作品。她相信，艺术应该是有趣的、充满想象力的，也是孩子们自由表达自己的空间。
Julia Chen，将于今年秋季进入 Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School 十年级。她喜欢各种手工创作，包括串珠、编织、折纸以及绳艺（gimp crafts）等。课余时间，她喜欢阅读，也学习钢琴和长笛，并经常参加足球和网球运动。
从幼儿园开始，Julia 就喜欢亲手为家人和朋友制作礼物，例如手套、折纸作品、手链和钥匙链等，并在各种特殊节日送给他们。过去两年中，她还经常在姐姐担任 CCLS Art & Craft 课程助教时提供帮助，积累了与小朋友一起学习和创作的经验。
Julia 很喜欢和年幼的孩子们一起进行艺术和手工活动，希望通过有趣、简单而富有创意的项目，帮助孩子们发挥想象力、体验动手创作的乐趣。
Class Introduction： This Art & Craft class provides a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment where children can explore their creativity and express their imagination through art.
In each session, students will have the opportunity to complete at least one art project to take home, while also having additional time to experiment, explore, and develop their creativity and crafting skills. Students will be introduced to a variety of art materials and techniques, including watercolors, acrylic paints, markers, drawing, paper crafts, and more.
The class is designed to encourage creativity rather than focus solely on the final product. Through hands-on activities, students will develop fine motor skills, artistic expression, imagination, patience, and confidence, while having fun and creating something they can be proud of.
No prior art experience is required. All children are welcome to explore, experiment, and enjoy the creative process!

Clarissa Lin， 10th grade at a high school in Ashland this September. She enjoys sketching and reading in her free time, as well as playing the piano and trumpet. She has also loved making origami since childhood. Over the years, Clarissa has received multiple art awards at school and has participated in various art courses. She especially enjoys seeing children express their imagination through art and looks forward to sharing her love of creativity with young students through fun and engaging craft activities.
Lingxi Xing, 10th grade at Bancroft School this September. She has experience working with children and has a strong passion for art and creativity. She enjoys exploring a variety of artistic media, including drawing, ceramics, woodworking, and crafts. In her classes, Lingxi hopes to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can focus on exploring, learning, and growing rather than simply completing a perfect final product. She believes art should be fun, imaginative, and a place where children can freely express themselves.
Julia Chen, 10th at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. She enjoys a wide range of crafts, including beadwork, knitting, origami, and gimp crafts. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing the piano and flute. She also plays soccer and tennis regularly. Julia has enjoyed making handmade items for family and friends since kindergarten, including mittens, origami, bracelets, and keychains for special occasions. For the past two years, she has also frequently helped her older sister as a teaching assistant in the CCLS Art & Craft classroom. Through this experience, Julia has developed a special interest in working with younger children and looks forward to creating fun and meaningful art projects with them.
