让孩子在朗诵中感受中文之美，在表达中建立自信！
本课程由毕业于中国传媒大学播音主持系、拥有近30年海外中文教育经验的李娜老师授课。李娜老师曾留校任教，来美后长期从事中文教育，并担任美国主流学校中文教师近20年。她多次担任“汉语桥”及全球华语大赛评委，并多次荣获全球华语朗诵大赛优秀指导教师奖及全美优秀中文教师奖。
课程从标准发音、朗读技巧和口语表达入手，通过学习中文诗歌、散文及经典作品，帮助学生纠正发音、改善“洋腔洋调”，提升识字、阅读、拼音拼读及中文表达能力。同时融入腰鼓、功夫扇等中华传统文化元素，让孩子在朗诵中亲身体验中华文化的魅力。
学生还将有机会参与学校小电台录音、春节晚会演出、社区公益演出及朗诵比赛，在真实的舞台实践中锻炼表达能力，增强自信心和对中文的热爱。近年来，李老师指导的学生多次在全球华语青少年朗诵及演讲比赛中获得一、二、三等奖。

Chinese Recitation & Public Speaking
Discover the beauty of the Chinese language and build confidence through recitation and performance!
This course is taught by Ms. Li Na, a graduate of the Broadcasting and Hosting program at Communication University of China. She has nearly 30 years of experience in Chinese language education in the United States, including almost 20 years teaching Chinese in mainstream American schools. Ms. Li has also served as a judge for the Chinese Bridge competition and Global Chinese Language competitions and has received multiple awards for outstanding coaching and excellence in Chinese education.
Students will develop clear and accurate Chinese pronunciation, reading fluency, oral expression, and presentation skills through Chinese poetry, prose, and classic literature. The class also incorporates traditional Chinese cultural activities, such as waist-drum performances and Kung Fu fan, giving students an engaging and hands-on way to experience Chinese culture.
Students will have opportunities to record for the school radio, perform at Chinese New Year celebrations and community events, and participate in Chinese recitation and speech competitions. These experiences help children build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop a genuine love for the Chinese language and culture.
Ms. Li believes in learning through fun and meaningful experiences. Her lively and engaging classes welcome students who enjoy Chinese, want to improve their speaking skills, or would like to become more confident performers and communicators!
